* Water Requirements *
A
very important aspect of any healthy tank is healthy water, so you must
choose a good source of water for your tank. The pH level in the water
should be at about 7, most pet shops sell water conditioners that
remove harmful chemicals from tap water and regulate the pH balance.
Most people use bottled or purified water,
though tap water can be used if the right precautions are taken to
ensure it is safe for your pets. If
you are lucky enough that you know someone who already has a healthy
aquarium set up, your best bet is to take some of the water from their
tank and cycle it into yours. In any case, a water-conditioning solution that will also balances the pH level is always good to use. Once your water is stable and healthy,
you can start introducing frogs into their new habitat!
